5 day tour in the Land of Thousand Towers

Upper Svaneti is historical region of Georgia. It is most high and isolated area, where are saved most of ancient traditions, and kulture.
Upper Svaneti architecture is recognized by UNESCO as world heritage site.

Day 1.
Transportation to Mestia from Tbilisi or Kutaisi.
On the way view on Enguri dam and water reservoire.
passing villages Etseri, Becho, Latali and Lenjeri.
Getting to Mestia. Rest and dinner in Guesthouse.

Day 2:
After breakfast in guesthouse walking in Mestia.
Visiting national museum and climbing museum.
Visiting Archangel's church with unique frescoes.
Walk in ancient Lagami and Lanchvali neighborhoods.
Dinner and sleep in guesthouse.

Day 3:
After breakfast hiking to Chaladi or Tviberi glacier following tourist route.
Return to guest house. Dinner.

Day 4:
Breakfast
Transportation to Ushguli - the highest permanently inhabitant village in Europe. Latitude 2300m.
On the way view villages Mulakhi,  Ipari and Kala.
Walk in Ushguli, visit Lamaria church with early medieval frescoes.
Visit Ushguli museum.
Return to Mestia.
Dinner in guest house.

Day 5.
After breakfast transportation to Tbilisi, Kutaisi or Batumi.
On the way visit churches with medieval frescoes in villages Lenjeri and Latali.
